I’m remembering the summer afternoons with Rodney and Lula in Colorado and the sound of the river in the background of our conversations – such great good times. And now the relationship continues through our memory – a more quiet companionship.

We loved having Rodney and Lula come to Estes Park every summer. The "lane" was a special place for friendship and fun. Lula's gumbo was the best and us westerners enjoyed it so much. Now, Rodney, Lula, John, Dale, Claude and Larry are all laughing and having a good time together. Prayers to her family as I'm sure she's right next to God with those boys. God bless you all!

Lula was the epitome of the Proverbs 31 lady. She brought joy and comfort to us; she will be missed and thought of frequently in the future. We were blessed to be a part of her life.
