Alfred Tuthill

Alfred Franklyn Tuthill, 88, passed away on July 27, 2018. He was born in Stamford, CT to the late Carl and Cecile Tuthill. Al served his country in the US Coast Guard, retiring after 28 years as Master Chief Radioman. He was an avid golfer and a former member of the Eagle Haven Men’s Golf Association. Al was predeceased by his loving wife of 67 years, Louise “Vicki” Marie Tuthill; grandson Brian Tuthill; and 2 sisters.

Left to cherish his memory are four children, Shelly Weir and husband Jimmy, Carl Tuthill and wife Jackie, Debby Wallace and husband Michael, John Tuthill and wife Hope; seven granddaughters, Ashley T., Staci, Amy, Lara, Rachel, Tori and Traci; twelve great granddaughters, Kristina, Michelle, Jessica, Julie, Lauryn, Katie, Ashley P., Brooke, Brianna, Kaylee, Laina and Theresa and four great grandsons, Tyler H., Tyler R., Kyle and Joseph and four great great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Willow Creek Gracious Retirement Living, 516 Great Bridge Blvd, Chesapeake, VA 23320. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society or CHKD. You may offer condolences at www.mem.com
