Mr. Lewis will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be deeply missed. Left to cherish his memory are: his devoted wife of 62 years, Marleen Lewis; two daughters, Carol Martins and Patricia Skees; three grandsons: Peyton Mule´ and wife Cassidy, Avery Skees and wife Darcie and Dustin Skees; sister, Bertha Mastriano and a number of nieces and nephews. Carl was my Chief of the Boat aboard USS Chopper in Key West. I will never forget this good man. Hand Salute, Shipmate, maybe we'll meet again when I cross the bar.

Carl captivated us with his great sense of humor and great stories. We spent many wonderful times together with him, Marleen, and Sugar's best friend Murphy. We miss you very much and are very thankful for your friendship over the years.
