Lorraine Pauline Giordano

Lorraine Pauline Giordano, 93, formerly of Long Island, N.Y., passed away on April 9, 2019. She was born in Hazelton, PA and was the daughter of the late Samuel and Theresa (Fulginiti) Vivino. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Ralph Giordano, daughter, Joan Karen McKenna, and grandson, Anthony Vincent Remshaw, and siblings Orlando Vivino, Marion Laico, Betty Sheetz, Stella Balzano, and Caroline Stroll.

She is survived by her two daughters, Terese Johnson and Margaret Giordano-Aronowitz; three son-in-law’s, Wayne Johnson, Sheldon Aronowitz, and James McKenna; 3 grandchildren and their spouses, Christopher Remshaw and wife, Holly, Lisa Horowitz and husband, Dave, and Keith McKenna and wife, Beth; and 2 great-granddaughters, Cameron Remshaw and Elida Horowitz.

She was an active member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters, Legion of Mary, St Gregory Women’s Club, Order of Alhambra, and The Roma Lodge.

The family will receive guests from 5 to 7 pm on Monday, April 15, 2019 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd in VA Beach, VA. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at the funeral home. Interment will take place at 2:00 pm on Wednesday at Rosewood Memorial Park.
