I moved to Virginia Beach in 1989.....not too long after Nancy hired me at Navy News as an advertising rep. That began a long friendship that carried over the years. She was a hoot and we shared some great laughs along the way. She could be tough but she had a kind heart. I can remember our weekly early-morning meetings, all of us women, passing a co-workers infant around the conference table and sharing in caring for her so her Navy-wife Mom could work while her husband was deployed. I can still see that baby, in her little bed, next to Nancy's desk while her Mom was on an appointment. Or the young man she hired who needed clothes and she proceeded to get us all to donate to the cause! She worked hard and diligently to provide for her family with her husband...her family was always her focus. I regret not seeing her as she struggled these last years. Last time we spoke was after a difficult illness a while back. But no matter what, you couldn't keep her down, she was tenacious! Rest in peace now Nancy xo

We were lucky to have Nancy and Richard as our next-door neighbors in Shadowlawn for 10 years. We shared hurricanes, pool parties, pets with Princess, and lots of laughs. Nancy's heart was grand and generous. She was bigger than life. There are many memories our family has of Nancy, but the one that sticks out is her teaching Wyndham how to ride a bike. When she saw me struggling, she came out into the street, worked her magic, and had Wyndham riding up and down Delaware Avenue in 5 minutes!! I have vivid memories of her running up and down the street along side Wyndham yelling, "Pedal, pedalll, PEDALLLLLL!!" I pray that her spirit is soaring the way Wyndham's was that day. Our deep-felt condolences. Your family holds a special place in the Ermini's heart.

As of right now I have no idea what life looks like without you and Grandpa in it. You have truly shown me what love should be and I’ll forever be grateful for it. Growing up I always found so much humor and love watching the way you were with Grandpa. My favorite memory was when you were trying to get his attention while he was watching any type of sports to purposely bother him. Oh how he hated it! What you had was true love for each other and I know that’s why you couldn’t stay here without him by your side. I hope that one day I am able to have what you two did. Thank you for always putting our family first. I love you forever and always Nanny!

My heart breaks for your family. Such a big loss. Nancy was “mom” to me in so many ways, it’s impossible to comprehend that mom and dads time here with us has ended. Sending comfort to the family. I also know that they are both together, exactly as they should be; watching over the family they are so incredibly proud of. 💗

I had met Nancy several years ago being fellow business associates through Market America. We had many fun trips to Miami, Greensboro, NC & Ocean City, MD. Many fun memories and laughs.
I'll cherish those memories.

Nanny,
I’m sure going to miss your spunk! I’ll never forget your love of dancing and having fun. Whether it was embarrassing for me or not. (I love you!❤️ ) You were always just trying to make everyone smile. That’s what I loved most about you. My favorite memories were our mornings together before school. Watching you get ready and sharing time together before you would take me to school. I want you to know that I appreciated all the times you were there when I needed you. Thank you for always stepping up in my life even when you didn’t need to. I know you always did your best for everyone. I love you and I’m going to miss hearing your voice on the other end of the phone. I hope you are back with the love of your life and pray one day I’ll see you again.

Sincerely,
Kaylin

So many memories, I don’t know where to start. We were neighbors, friends, and coworkers. We had so much fun no matter what we chose to do. I think my favorite memory was when you had me doing jumping jacks and running around the house, anxious for my baby to arrive. Sure enough I woke up the next morning in labor. I can still see you running to me while putting on a hot pink robe. We jumped in the car and about half way there the car overheated. Nevertheless we made it. I will miss you so much. I will always think of the crab legs we ate when I came to visit. I wii carry these memories always. I love you so much and you will always be in my heart. Goodbye my friend until we meet again.
