Romeo Soronio Bombase
July 10, 1939 – November 10, 2017
Romeo Soronio Bombase, 78, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2017. Romeo was born on July 10, 1939, in Urdaneta, Pangasinan, Philippines. He served in US Coast Guard retiring after 32 years. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 45 years, Modesta A. Bombase.
Romeo will be missed by his two sons, Roland A. Bombase and his wife Amanda of Mountain Home, ID; Randy A. Bombase and his wife Jacquie of Chesapeake; three grandchildren, Reece, Brandon, and Jade; sister, Carmenlita Bombase; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home in Virginia Beach. A funeral mass will be held Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by entombment in Rosewood Memorial Park. I served with Romy on the CGC Ingham in '81/'82. I really don't ever remember him Not smiling, unless he lost a hand of Poker. His laugh was as unforgettable as he was. Fair Winds my friend.

To the families and friends of Romeo S. Bombase. I do not know the families personally but we all lose love ones in death. Today I just want to send my deepest condolences to the families. May God give all of you comfort and peace at this difficult time. Please allow God to strengthen you in your grief. I am sorry for the loss of your love one.
Virginia will always be my home but now I live in Harrisburg Pa.
