Woody loved his family and spent any spare time fishing with his dad and later with his boys. He was introduced to racing as a teenager by his brother and fell in love with the sport. His work career was in parts and sales in the automotive and trailer industry.
Mr. Fowler is survived by his wife Lynne Fowler; his two sons, Jeffrey Fowler and Kevin Fowler; seven grandchildren, Chevy Fowler, Martin Velez, Camryn Velez, Taygyn Fowler, Harper Fowler, Noah Fowler and Mackenna Fowler; siblings, Harold Fowler, Betty Smith, Martha Brightwell and Sharon Gause.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Trinity Baptist Church, 2003 Charleston Highway, Cayce, SC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Trinity Baptist Church.
