Joyce Yocham

Joyce M. Yocham, 87, of Woodway, passed away Monday, July 30, 2018 in Waco. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM, Friday, August 3, 2018 in Robinson Cemetery with the Reverend Jerry Freedman officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 2nd at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Yocham was born on September 10, 1930 in Jayton, Texas to John A. and Beetie (Jones) Vardiman. She was united in marriage to Harvey B. Yocham on July 4, 1948 in Jayton, Texas. They celebrated over 70 wonderful years together and were very devoted to one another. Mrs. Yocham loved to cook, sew, decorate their home and shopping but her true love was her family. She was a Baptist. Mrs. Yocham was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband; Harvey B. Yocham of Woodway, daughters; Charlotte Lillard and her husband, Neal Lillard of Robinson and Teresa Daily and her husband, Gary Daily, Sr. of Farmersville, Tx, grandchildren; Bryan Lillard, Angela Schroeder and her husband, Brian, Gary Daily Jr. and his wife, Ashly, Aaron Daily and his fiancé, Stephanie, Jordan Daily and his wife, Melanie and Cameron Daily and his wife, Kimberly, great grandchildren; Kailey and Lindsey Schroeder and Isabella and Jameson Daily and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

The family would like to give special thanks to all the caregivers at Providence Hospice Place for taking

such wonderful and loving care of her until she went home to be with the Lord.
