Monday was a very sad day for our family losing our precious Uncle Bert. He was the kindest, loving, most generous gentleman and we were so proud to have him in our family. He fought a tough fight and now he is all well again and back with the loved ones gone before him. We loved him dearly and miss him terribly. He's resting in his big chair with Dolly in his lap again in heaven. Love you Uncle Bert!!

We are so sorry that Bert is gone. He was such a nice guy and so generous with his time by helping so many veterans. He could get your attention really quick but that is how he got things done. You could always find him in his black chair with his little dog in his lap. RIP!
