

Anthony DiBella, age 84 of Warren, died Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at St. John Macomb Hospital Center in Warren. Anthony was born December 03, 1923 in Clairton, Pennsylvania the son of the late Angelo Auguglairo and the late Concetta (nee: Dibella) Auguglairo. Anthony graduated from high school in Clairton and then served his country during World War II in the Navy aboard the submarine USS Bang SS-385. After his military service Anthony returned to Clairton and married Gloria (nee: Adamo) in 1947. He and his wife moved to Michigan in 1947 and Anthony went to work for L.W. Kennedy woodworking. Anthony again would be called into military service during the Korean War serving aboard the USS Bashaw SS-241. He returned to Michigan and went to work for Fisher Body as a wood model maker. Anthony retired from General Motors Fisher Body after more than 30 years. After Anthony retired he loved to tinker with any problem or broken item, and spend time gardening. His family said he was a Jack of all Trades. He was a faithful member of his church, and also a member of the Sub Vets, veterans who served on submarines. He enjoyed the annual Sub Vets conventions and the many parades they attended. Anthonys passion in his life was spending time with his family and going to his home in Port Sanilac. Anthony is survived by his beloved wife Gloria. Also Mr. DiBella is the dear father of Elayne (Ron) Sollars, James DiBella and Jospeh (Kathy) DiBella. And the loving grandfather of Michael (Erica), Jon (Sandi), Patrick, Steven, Jeffrey, Michelle, and great-grandfather of Jason, Scott, Brandon and Abby. Visitation for Mr. DiBella will be Thursday from 2-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover at Common (12 Mile). There will be a Rosary said for Mr. DiBella at 6pm Thursday followed by the Submarine Veterans Service at 7pm. Mr. DiBella will lie in state Friday 10:00 am until time of the Funeral Mass 10:30 am at St. Sylvester Catholic Church, 11200 East Twelve Mile in Warren. Celebrating the Funeral Liturgy will be Rev.
