He is a dear father of Jennifer Taylor and Nancy Lambiris. A proud grandfather of William Taylor and Lillian Workman. Caring brother of Philip Lambiris, Maria Gatzaros, Andrew Lambiris, the late Stephanie Rousso, Peter Lambiris, Ioannis Lambiris, and Helen Yfantidis. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Born in Agia Sohpia, Greece, to the late Demetrios and Ioanna Lambiris, George served in the United States Navy. George worked as a carpenter his entire life. He was a talented carpenter and had a hard time staying committed to being retired because of his strong work ethic. In his free time, he enjoyed home improvements and woodworking and would make tables and assorted furniture. In his younger years, George would go hiking and camping in the mountains and skiing in the winter. Some of his favorite memories were of trips to Colorado or “up North” to visit Tahquamenon Falls and Pictured Rocks. When he was at home, George would watch old westerns, Star Trek and Star Wars movies. He loved the old classic music from his childhood like Fleetwood Mac and The Eagles and often had it playing in his house.
