Carmella M. Laquale

Carmella M. (D’Allesandro) Laquale, age 94, of Barrington, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at Evergreen House Health Center. She was the wife of the late Vito N. Laquale a WWII war veteran who passed in 2009.

Born on her family’s dairy farm in Barrington, a daughter of the late Antonio and Assunta “Susie” (DiOrio) D’Allesandro, she was a life-long resident of town.

For many years, Mrs. Laquale was head of food service (ordering and preparing lunches onsite) for multiple schools in the Barrington School department before retiring. A skilled and talented cook, she enjoyed gardening, canning/preserving along with preparing the many healthy delicious meals for family and friends. She will always be remembered for her warm sense of humor, contagious laugh, generosity, kindness, and willingness to lend a helping hand to someone in need.

She is survived by her loving son, William “Bill” Laquale and his wife Dr. Kathleen Laquale of Seekonk, MA. She was predeceased by her husband Vito, her son Steven and her twelve siblings.
