Jeannette A. Younes (97)
Surrounded by family, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 in Bethesda, MD. Preceded in death by her husband William G. Younes, she is survived by four children, Gary (Debbie), Glenn (Renee), Kevin, and Karen (Jim), seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Over the course of her career, she worked as an Office Administrator to Senator McMahon, Deputy Secretary of (what is now) HHS, and for the Health Care Finance Administration, retiring at age 75. She was an active parishioner at Sts. Peter and Paul Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church and devoted member of the Order of St. Ignatius.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 3-5pm and 6-7pm, with the funeral services to follow at 7pm, at Sts. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, 10620 River Road, Potomac, MD. Interment will take place on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at 10:30am, at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be sent to the Sts. Peter and Paul’s Church - Sunday School.
