A good man, smiling, and always an asset to his community. When we were young and just starting out he always helped us get to work and school. Great memories of a hardworking generous family man.

We are so sorry to hear of Ralph's passing. We dealt with Ralph and his business for 28 years. Ralph was a special person. He was always very helpful, kind, concerned, honest and sympathetic to us. He went out of his way to help us during bad weather and difficult times for our family. We extend our condolences to his wife and family during this sad and difficult time. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I feel so sad to learn about Ralph's passing! Ralph was one of the first community's resident and business owner that my husband and I met in Washingtonville when we moved up here 37 years ago. He was such a gentle and kind person and would always make the time to stop and talk and check to see how you were. The love he had for Gene and his family was priceless! He was such a hardworking man and will be deeply missed in our community! I send prayers and love for strength to Gene and the family during this difficult time! May God watch over all of you!

When we first moved here over 35 years ago, Ralph was our first mechanic and helped us, as well as my parents, for many years with our cars. He was always ready with a smile and kind word, never letting his many personal health battles or family tragedies affect his kindness. During our tough times when we didn't have full payment at hand for his services, his quick remark "Don't worry about it, just pay when you can." was sincere and a Godsend as we needed our cars to make a living. A true gentleman, rare person, and amazing mechanic, he will be truly missed. R.I.P. Ralph.

Ralph was a hero. He helped me with car issues, he made payment plans when my circumstances didn’t allow me to pay for his amazing services. I loved him. I will never forget asking him to dance with me at a Washingtonville KOC event... and sweet Jeanie smiled and let me have that moment to tell Ralph how grateful I was for all his love and kindness. He was a true gentleman and an amazing man. I will miss knowing he walks this earth. Good speed and God bless to a true Ángel that walked among us.

So very heartbroken to hear this news. Ralph was such a wonderful man. I remember when growing up his Halloween fun was always something to look forward to. Prayers going out to his family. He will be sadly missed by the Freund and Amaral family.

My heart is shattered. Ralph was such a wonderful man. In the early 90's I had an awful car that left me stranded in so many places in the county. He would hear my voice on the phone and he'd say "Where are you, honey, I'm coming to get you." My daughter has vivid memories of being a preschooler and riding in the front seat of Ralph's wrecker many times. Ralph was one of the sweetest, dearest men I have ever known and a throw-back to how local businessmen always did business in this town. Ralph will be sorely missed by the Meore family. Our sincerest condolences to the Paukovits family.
