Muriel Elene Harper
November 20, 1927 – June 11, 2018
Muriel Elene Harper was born November 20, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan to Raymond and Lois Siegert. She was one of four daughters. Muriel passed away peacefully on Monday June 11, 2018 in Novi, Michigan, under the gentle care of Residential Hospice, at the age of 90.
Muriel was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 34 year Russell P. Harper.
Muriel is survived by her children: Philip (Judy), Deborah (Dave), Beth (Mark), and Steven (Diana). Grandchildren: Paula (Bill), Tom (Kim), Lisa, Jeremy (Jessica), Paul, and Maria. Great Grandchildren: Jasmine, Jade, Jacob, Kylee, Alivia, Jayla, Benjamin, Ryder, Charlotte, and Bradley.
Muriel was a bookkeeper for Sears for many years and also for the health care industry. In her retirement, she enjoyed reading, knitting and sewing treasured items for her family, playing cards, and winning at Bingo. She really enjoyed her snacks and could be found munching down on some peanut butter crackers from time to time. However, most of all she enjoyed being a mom, grandma, and great-grandma. Her family meant everything to her. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
The family will receive guests, beginning at 12:00pm for a Memorial Service to celebrate Muriel's life at 1:00pm on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Holy Cross Church 30650 Six Mile, Livonia, Michigan 48152. The service will be led by Reverend Elizabeth C. Birkholz.

My prayers are with you Beth and your family during this time.
A friend shared these words with me almost two years ago. I hope you can find comfort in them
In every heart she touched,in every life she changed, in every thought she inspired, her love lives on.
Your mother enriched the lives of everyone who knew her. She will not be forgotten by anyone who loved her
May you find comfort in God's Word
Forever a friend
