Crensenciano Douglas Groce, 53, resident of Houston, Texas, passed away on July 30, 2021. He was born on May 10, 1968 and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. Crensenciano also studied in Las Vegas and then in Texas, where he met his beautiful wife, Vilma S. Ramirez, through their older children from previous relationships. Vilma and Crensenciano were sealed in the Houston Temple on May 26, 2018 for all eternity. From there, they added three more children to their family. He takes great pride in his twin boys’ acceptance to the Science Magnet Program and hope to have future engineers, like himself.
He had a positive and easy-going personality; always wanting everyone around him to feel comfortable and happy. Crensenciano was playful and funny; and definitely had a sense of humor! He was family oriented; spending time with his children. He also loved to cook and prepare food for the family. He was a movie enthusiast and loved to read to his children. His love for engineering helped him be a hands-on dad from painting with the children to exciting science projects.
He is survived by his loving wife Vilma S. Ramirez and their children Chad, Chase, and Chanel. He is also survived by his older children Geneeve, Dylan, Jazmyn Buentello, and Crensenciano, Jr. (Taz). He will also be missed by his mother Fortunata; father Paul; siblings Patricio, Ericka, Polin, and Licha; and numerous nieces and nephews; along with friends and members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Visitation will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints-Clear Lake, 1802 Gunwale Road in Houston, Texas from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 with the funeral service to follow at 12.00 p.m. and a reception to follow the service. A committal service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Forest Park East Cemetery.
