Donald M. Forcha, Sr. went to be with the Lord on July 27, 2020. Don was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 plus years of joyous marriage, Helois in 2011. He was a proud father to his son, Donald Forcha, Jr., and his wife, Stella; and his daughters, Sue Ann Cegelski and Barbara Forcha; grandchildren, Chris Forcha and his wife, Amy, Curt Forcha and his wife, Brien, Aimee Cegelski, and Wesley Cegelski; great grandchildren, Brooke Forcha, Summer Forcha, Brodie Forcha and Aria Cegelski who were a special blessing and joy to their PaPa; and his niece, JoLynn Huels and her family.
Born in Louisiana and moved to Houston when he married Helois where they raised their family. Don was raised in the Catholic Church, but later became a member of the United Methodist Church with his family.
He proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps during World War II. Don retired as a Locomotive Engineer with Southern Pacific Railroad.
A private family service to celebrate the life of Donald M. Forcha, Sr. will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Cy-Hope, Making Life Better For Kids in Cy-Fair at www.cy-hope.org.
