He died at the Vitas Hospice in the Woodlands, Texas.
Hooshang was born in Kermanshah,Iran on July 25, 1930. In 1959, he moved with his future wife, Mahvash to New York where he worked as a lab technician in a hospital. In the years to follow, Hooshang and Mahvash had three children, Amin, Ramin and Shirin. In 1968, he and his family moved to San Diego, California where he worked in a stock company. Three years later, Hooshang and his family moved to Houston, Texas where he managed three apartment complexes and owned a very successful flower shop. Later, he and Mahvash started their own restaurant, The Tiny Grill. Hooshang retired in the early 1990’s and lived comfortably in his home for the past 20 years.
Hooshang was a member of the Bahai Faith. His passions in life were nature and travel.
Hooshang is preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Naz Nosrat, his sister, Gigi, brothers Ebi and Mansoor.
He is survived by his sister, Paulin, brother, Manuchehr, wife Mahvash, children, Amin (Janet), Ramin, Shirin (George), and grandchildren, Michelle, Nicole, David and Maria.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 16, 2018 at 1:30pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home 21620 Gulf Freeway Webster, Texas 77598. A reception will follow the Services at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Interment to immediately follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
