Mr V,
Your love for life has always been well known to me. I enjoyed our talks and without a doubt those that really knew you, respected you. I really appreciate you always telling me I was part of your family.
You are an icon in the credit union industry, a great businessman and a friend. I appreciate the opportunities and challenges you offered me. You reminded me of my own Dad in so many ways, proud of your own kids and to be the best Pawpaw to your grandkids to name a few. Please spread your angel wings, surround your family and look over all of us. You will be greatly missed

My sincere condolences to the Vaughn family. I met Mr. Vaughn (PawPaw) two years ago when he took me, Colby, & Mr. Shane shooting. We had a great time! He always made me laugh and I enjoyed hanging out with him so much. It was a great honor to know him and I will miss not seeing him over at the Vaughn’s, but I will always have very fond memories of him.

You left too soon big brother... I still had more to talk with you about. I still needed to hear more of your "CRAZY MIKE" stories. I still needed to hear "THIS IS MIKE" when I called you on the phone. I still needed to give you many more "THANK YOU" for taking care of me. And I still needed to tell you many many more times "I LOVE YOU"! But on September 11, 2018 JESUS NEEDED YOU MORE!

As I was looking through your memories of Mike, I was remembering mine as well. You could not have met a nicer man. He and his family made those of us in the credit union world, feel like we were a part of their family. I have the nicest memories of Mike from over the years. He was kind hearted and always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need . I will miss him dearly. Margie, Shane and Angela, my heart, my payers and my love go out to you.

It has been our greatest success to move next door to the best people we've ever met because ya'll have helped us raise the best boys we could possibly imagine. Combining our two families into one has assured us that Ryan and Travis will always have another brother and sister to look after them. We cannot fathom what their lives would have been like without you, Mike. We wish dearly, that you will have a happy after-life.

Words cannot express the tremendous sorrow in my heart with the passing of Mike. I've known Mike, Margie, Angela and Shane for over a dozen years and had the pleasure of working with them as their accountant for many of those years. Mike was a very special man of integrity and honor. He was very generous, had a great sense of humor and his friendship meant so much to me. He enjoyed every minute with his family and was so very proud of Shane and Angela for their part in the company he and Margie worked hard to build.
My sincere and deepest condolences to the Vaughn family. Mike's legacy will live on with his children and grandchildren and he will smile down on all of them bursting with pride. Rest in Peace my friend. You are loved and will be missed always.

I do not have the words to let family know how much I loved Mike. I also do not have words to tell you all how much I will miss Mike. He was a true friend and a great man to have next door; I always knew my house was safe. May God give all the strength to handle this loss. God Bless!

What a tremendous loss to us all. Mike was an inspiration to all that labored in the Credit Union movement. His story was truly the American Dream and all that worked with him knew him to always be honest and filled with integrity. His legacy is evident in the amazing team he and his family have assembled at Auto Exam/ Vision and through his children and grandchildren. I will never forget him and we are heartbroken for the Vaughn family and all that knew Mike. Rest Easy Mike, and please smile down on all that you created here on Earth.

All Our Love,

It is hard to put into words how much Mike meant to me and how he touched my life.

I always enjoyed our business trips together. It was an opportunity to learn from Mike, but I also learned about Mike. He always said:
(1) It is better to be early for an appointment than late. NEVER be late!
(2) Turn off your phone when you go into a meeting!
(3) It doesn't matter if it is a large credit union or small, everyone was to be treated with the same level of respect and professionalism!

The most important thing I learned about Mike was his great love he had for his family. He was so very proud of them.

I could go on and on about Mr. Mike and his many attributes. Just recently Mike was at the office and he said "hello Mr. Gary"! I went to shake his hand and instead he hugged me! He made me feel like family and I will never forget that. As my wife said, he was like a brother to us and we will miss his kind heart.

So, until we see him again, our love and prayers are with Shane, Margie, Angela, and the entire Vaughn family.
