I got to know Debbie when I started working at Mercy on the mother/baby floor in the boutique. I often shared lunch breaks with Debbie and enjoyed our visits. She was always kind to me and I remember how excited she was when she found out she was going to be a grandmother! After she retired it was, always fun to see her again at our cookie exchanges. Gone much too soon,

My heart goes out to the Shrader family during this difficult and sorrowful time. A beautiful life has been taken too soon. Debbie was a kind, caring and gentle woman and nurse. Her legacy lives on through her family, plus the many new moms and babies she welcomed and helped to get a good start in this world. May many lovely memories comfort you.

I worked with Debbie for 13 years at Mercy. She was a wonderful , kind person both as nurse and as my friend. We always enjoyed working together. We had lots of laughs, and some tears. I will miss her very much, but I know she's in an amazing place now.
