Marilyn M. Branzetti
July 3, 1933 – June 30, 2018
Marilyn M. Branzetti passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on Saturday, June 30, 2018. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Paul L. Branzetti. Marilyn was raised in Newton, MA. She attended Endicott College and was a graduate of the Beverly School of Nursing. She resided and raised a family in Needham, MA for 30 years. She retired to the Cape in 1986.
Marilyn’s nursing career was brief as she chose to remain at home to care for and raise her family. She was an avid golfer belonging to both Needham Country Club and Cranberry Valley Golf Club. She loved to play games of all kinds, especially scrabble and cribbage. She was a passionate reader and you could always find a puzzle going in the house for all to enjoy and a bowl of popcorn to accompany it.
She was an active member of the First Congregational Church of Harwich, where she passionately volunteered her time for over 15 years as a cashier in the church thrift shop. She always greeted customers with a smile and was more than happy to chat or hand out sweet treats and sell whatever the customers needed.
Marilyn is survived by her three children, Linda Branzetti of Arlington, MA, Greg Branzetti of Moultonborough, NH, and Eric Branzetti and his wife Jo Ann of Sandwich, MA, along with their three children, Kristen Branzetti, Mathew Branzetti, and Daniel Branzetti.
