In around 1972 Wallace senior made the dream of home ownership come true for my family when he and his team constructed a beautiful little house for my mother and father on Long Road in Harwich. I recall him as a great and honest man, hard working and true blue in character. His son Skip was a great friend to me in my younger years and he too, more recently, helped complete another beautiful home for my sister Lee near Chatham Road. I have always known Wallce and his family to be the absolute finest of people.
God Bless to All,
Richard Arneson (Arnie)

Our deepest condolences goes out to the Raneo family. I had the pleasure to meet Wally through my father Angel Thomas. Every time Wally came to Aruba we where together. He and my father would have the best of times. He was just here last February. Brought my father some Red Sox memorabilia since they both loved the Red Sox. He will surely be missed.

Tina and the Raneo Family, I will miss the times that Wally and I had spent on my visits to CC and Aruba-he never let me forget I borrowed a pair for swim trunks and didn't return them. We had good conversations and sometimes a drink or two. I will miss my Brother-In-Law whom was a Brother to me.

Hello Margo, Wendy and Skip... want to share a personal story... when my parents divorced for the first time (they did this 3 times and always loved each other)... there was no health insurance back then... I was about 9 years old and needed my tonsils out...my mother had no money for this... your Father "bought" her wedding ring so she could pay for my surgery... later, she repaid him and he returned his ring... how sweet was that? Thank you... every time I met your Dad at the post office.. or wherever... we hugged and kissed... no words needed to pass... Love you all. Colleen (Cashen) Spriinger

Wally was my first friend in Harwich. We have spent many summers together cheering on the Harwich Mariners and bonding over our love of family and sports. Wally built a dream house for me and my husband. I will miss Wally dearly and I send love and prayers of sympathy to his entire family.
