Papa Joe will be truly missed. I remember picking mulberries with Papa Joe in the backyard. On Easter, we would go there and find Easter eggs making the holiday special. After a visit, he would always give us Pizelle's and some fruit he grew. We got star fruit on our last visit. He was always warm and caring. We have a lot of beautiful memories that will be forever in our heart.
Love,
Dave and Angela Sharone

Dear Aunt Ollie and family,
I'm so sorry to hear of Uncle Joe's passing. I will always remember his sweet smile. He was such a kind, caring, gentle man. I have a memory of him when we visited you in Albany, when I was a teenager. We were in the back yard. He was building a picnic table. He was carefully measuring to get it perfect. I hope you find comfort in knowing you will see him again someday. I love you and your family and miss you. I hope you are well. I know your children are there for you. Sending hugs to all of you. Much love, Carmen

Uncle Joe was a real mentor to me...he was always up for a good scrabble game on those cold winter friday nights. Joe taught many things to me ...how to drive....construction teniques....great picnics to kinderhook creek and warner lake..he even made sure i had a white dive mask with a yellow glass viewer so i could see the fish under water...but most of all how to be a good man ....I love Uncle Joe...he will be with me always
Much love to you

Dear Aunt Ollie and Uncle Joe,
Our precious Uncle Joe is already terribly missed even as we know the Joy he must feel being with Jesus- we know he will always be but a step away from his dearest Ollie and the Family he will always watch over.
My wise parents picked this wonderful, gentle man , Uncle Joe, to be my Godfather and I am so grateful.
I’m so happy for the 50’s daily precious times at the Sharone house with Jo Anne and then the last 7 years of Birthdays with Aunt Ollie and Uncle Joe in Florida- twist dancing at the Moose ( Uncle Joe showed us how it’s done) and Dinner at Carmines. We love you both. Wouldn’t have missed it for the World!
Love,
Paula and Steve

Dear Aunt Ollie and Family,
Uncle Joe was a wonderful, kind, and loving person. I have many memories of him from the " old days" in Albany. At Deedy and Jack's wedding, for example, he lined up all the little cousins and took our picture. Recently, he made sure we all had a copy of that picture. It is a treasure!
Of course, there are so many memories from Florida, the wonderful hospitality, in such a welcoming home, of both Ollie and Joe.
Our love and prayers go out to you , and we wish we could be with you at this sad time.
Love,
MaryAnne and Gary

Papa Joe was the purest example of love and kindness, dedication to family, conviction in faith, and embodiment of putting forth joy into the universe. Always a smile, never a cross word, and a warmth that hugged you as soon as you met him. We will miss him terribly, but know he will be waiting for us when we meet again. RIP, Papa Joe. Love you always- K,H,h,k
