Latif truly was an angel on earth and now he dwells with the Lord Almighty. He just showed my family so much compassion and kindness and love when we were down and out. He rescued us. He took us in when we needed it the most. We will never never forget him. My most sincere condolences to the Girgis family. 😭

Psalm 46:1-2 “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.” Psalm 73:26 “My flesh and my heart may fail, Despite what obstacles one may have, my uncle always tried to help or reach out. I don’t ever remember him saying I don’t know how to fix that, but he always said I can try. Despite his tender heart, his smile would light up the room. You will truly be missed but not forgotten. We love you deeply. Please say hello, and give a big hug to teta and my brother Basem.

One of the purest hearts, kind spirit, and loving human being. He was the first face we saw when we migrated to the USA, to a country that we’ve never known before, but he made the transition more comfortable with his humor, his laughter, and his support. He opened his house and his heart without asking for anything in return. You were my first memory in this country, and I will never forget you. Thank you for your guidance, your love and kindness, and your generosity. May God rest your soul.

Your grateful nephew, Dr. George Zaky
