OBITUARY
Mr. Murray Murrell
September 5, 1930 – February 20, 2021
“Well Done My Good and Faithful Servant" on Saturday, February 20, 2021. Murry was born September 5, 1930 in Blakely, Georgia to Innis and Rose Lee Murrell. Murray attended Union Hill School in Blakely, Georgia. He joined Mt. Hosea Baptist Church at an early age. He moved to West Palm Beach, Florida and joined Union Baptist Church. While at Union Baptist Church he was a member of the Number 2 Choir and the Male Chorus. In his later part of life, he joined Greater Bethel Primitive Baptist Church under the late Elder R.J. Hendley, Jr. Murray was employed with Bell South (AT&T) for 30 years. He retired in May of 1984. After retirement from Bell South he continued to drive the school bus for Palm Beach County Schools for 12 years. On the weekends he enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and working on cars. Murry was preceded in death by brothers, Willie Lee (Dorthy) and Zelotis (Ilene) and grand-daughter, Ryeshia. His memory will forever be cherished by his wife, Inez of 64 years; children, Irene (Craig) Jackson, Doris (Ellis) Dennard, Leon Murrell, Barbara (Curtis) Rodgers and Tasha Murrell; grandchildren, Tequestawun (Tewun) Dennard, Craig Jackson, Jr. and Deon Murrell; great-grand children, T’Keyah Dennard, Tianna Dennard, Keyanna (Tanajah) Roberts and De’Jon (D.J.) Murrell.
