Luafulu Purcell, age 66, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2020 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born July 10, 1954 in Letogo Vaimauga, Western Samoa to Sainofo Faalaga and Peni Purcell. She attended Church College of Western Samoa. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Aunty Fulu was a strong, independent, God-fearing woman who always saw the good in people. Aunty never failed in giving to others or lending a helping hand to those in need. Even if she went without, she gave whatever she had. Aunty loved spending time with friends and family. She loved her siblings and also raised some of her nephews and nieces as her own.
Aunty Fulu loved teaching and served as a Primary Teacher and knew that teaching young ones was a special calling. She was a hardworking woman who had great faith and believed families are forever.
She is survived by her Brothers: Toleafoa-Nuku, Moeola; Sister Sose; and Grandchildren 5.
She was preceded in death by her Mother: Sainofo Faalaga; Brothers: Pepe, Tagiilima, Ualesi and Meafou.
Services will be held Friday, August 14, 2020 at Valley View Funeral Home 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah 84120. A viewing will take place at 11:00 AM with a Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 PM.
Interment at Valley View Memorial Park, Pioneer Garden following the services.
