I remember the first time I met Pauline and your family in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. Ron and Pauline and family were here visiting our grandparents, Harry & Alice Thurston. I was 8 and was in awe of Pauline... she was so elegant and graceful. It made a deep impression on me. I thought it so cool that all you kids had fringed suede jackets and cowboy boots. This East Coast kid was so jealous.

Please know that we are thinking of you all at this difficult time and that we are sending love and comforting thoughts.

With our love,
Frieda & Chris
