Hazel Ruth Roush

Hazel was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. In her spare time she enjoyed playing cards, traveling, and watching Football, but especially LSU and The Saints.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, William "Frank" Roush, parents, Maurice and Mabel Sutherland Meek, and a brother, Maurice Meek.

Those left behind to cherish her memories are her son, Kenneth Roush and wife, Stephany of League City, TX; daughters, Tina Roush of Westlake, Cindy Cromer of Westlake, and Renee Roush of Westlake; grandchildren, Justin Brown, Tyler Roush, Gracie Roush Taylor, Mari-tate Roush, Ariel Cromer and Wade Griffith; and one great-grandson, "Brycen Cruz Taylor; brothers, John Meek and Donald Meek and wife, Cheryl both of Westlake; cousin/sister, Linda Austin of Irving, TX; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Hixson Funeral Chapel in Moss Bluff, LA. Rev. Paula Raley will officiate. Burial will follow in Westlake Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home in Moss Bluff.
