Joyce Gloria Fletcher

Joyce H. Fletcher, 90, of Westlake, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. She was born to her late parents, William and Mary Gloria Hetzel on April 2, 1928 in Jennings, LA. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sulphur for 60 years, where she spent many years volunteering in any way that she could. When she was able, Joyce was a caretaker in her neighborhood.

She is survived by her three sons, Tommy Fletcher and wife Jean of Westlake, Byron Fletcher and wife Debbie of Topsy, Stuart Fletcher and wife Kim of Moss Bluff; one brother, William Hetzel, Jr. and wife Betty of Hathaway; along with six grandchildren, Keith Young, Derek Young, Josh Fletcher, Kaylen Peters and husband Joey, Kensie Fletcher, and Colt Fletcher.

Joyce is preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas J. Fletcher, Sr.; her parents; and three sisters.

A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sulphur, LA. on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 2:00pm. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday, from 12:00pm until the time of the service. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
