My favorite memory of Bill's (and there were many) is when a married couple at the home sang a duet together during a Concordette show.  The woman had a very nice voice, however her husband was more of a comedian.  I asked Bill to go into the little room off the chapel where the  chairs were kept.  I gave Bill a cordless mic and he sang the part of the husband's while the husband of the married couple  did lip sinc.  It was fantastic.  Bill had such a great voice and he was such a gentleman.  I have sweet memories of that Concordette Group and of Bill.   Colette Stanley

Bill became a friend to our Compeer group of volunteers  5 , almost 6 years ago. He attended monthly Game Night and was a main member of the Scrabble Club.  He was optimistic and always had kind words for everyone.  We will miss him dearly. 
Bill’s son Bob is my coworker and long time friend.  I see how Bob shares his dad’s love of nature, art, and helping others feel at ease.   Bill’s optimism and kindness will continue by the actions of his son Bob. 
I am lucky and blessed to know the Piovarchy family.  My thoughts and prayers go out to their family  as they process the loss of such an accomplished and caring man.  What a blessing to have known Bill Piovarchy.

I worked many years with Bill at the Consolidated Natural Gas Company's Johnson Data Center on Pleasant Valley Road in Independence.  I still remember the beautiful mural painted on his basement wall, where we occasionally held union meetings.  Bill and I used to eat lunch together every Saturday when we were both on "fourth shift".  My condolences to his family.     Dale Kraemer.
