Carmen A. Angelini

December 19, 1919October 14, 2011

Long time Conejo Valley resident, Carmen Angelini passed on October 14 2011 of natural causes. Part of the Greatest Generation, she immigrated from Panama to the United States in the early 1950's. She loved this country and became a citizen. Carmen never looked back. She and her husband Louis Oscar Angelini (deceased) raised seven children. Geraldine Seltzer of Napa Valley, Louis Oscar Angelini Jr, Vietnam Vet (deceased) Tony Angelini, of Maui, HI. Yvonne Perryman of Thousand Oaks, Michelle M. Erwin, Jacksonville, Or. twins Dennis Angelini of Thousand Oaks and Denise Angelini of Ventura Ca. She is survived by twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

With an unparalleled work ethic and optimism, Carmen worked in the retail business for over 60 years until her retirement in her mid-80's. She was one of the team leaders who opened the Broadway/Macy's store at the Thousand Oaks Mall over 35 years ago. Her commitment to service and helping her customers find their beauty within, resulted in Carmen always hitting her annual sales goals with which her younger peers could not compete. Upon retirement, she became an active member of many volunteer groups in the area. In fact she had worked at her beloved Goebel Senior and Adult Center just three days prior to her passing. The consummate "Fashionists" and lady, her fellow seniors looked to her for fashion and beauty tips at any age. Carmen leaves a legacy of character, faith, love and joy.

One of her favorite sayings was " I have lived a life of no regrets, when I am called to heaven I will be ready" You are with God and the angels Mom.
