I'd like the memory of me To be a happy one. I'd like to leave an afterglow Of smiles When life is done. I'd like to leave an echo whispering Softly down the ways. Of happy times and laughing times And bright sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve, To dry before the sun Of happy memories that I leave When life is done.

Dear family of Rhonda, I think of her so often, what a beautiful person and oh how she love Joel, Rachel and Lauren. I loved seeing Rhonda every December at the Cookie Exchange and catching up on the girls. I just knew our Rhonda had the fight to win; my heart sank to hear she lost the fight. I loved working with Rhonda at IBM and am grateful for the gift of our friendship and being blessed by her lively spirit. The candle will always burn bright because of Rhonda. I am grateful for having known Rhonda. My deepest condolences to you.

To the Vintons, Arner, and Snett families. I share in your sorrow.
May the wonderful memories and deep connections that Rhonda developed with so many people sustain and comfort you.
She was smart and fun-loving, positive and practical, non-judgemental, open and authentic. Rhonda was the first friend I made when I moved to California working for IBM. As single gals and roommates for 4 years we both had a penchant for throwing parties, usually at Linda and Abe's house. She generously provided emotional and financial support when my marriage fell apart and she mentored me into the field of market research. I am grateful to have known her for so long, and experienced the depth and steadfastness of her friendship. I miss her very much.
Lovingly, Barbara Ketchum

Dear Joel, Rachel and Loren,
This is Danica's mom from Horizon Hills and Ms. Elena's class. I'm so sorry to hear of Rhonda's passing. Her combination of intelligence, warmth, candor and humor was a delight to be around. I remember having so much fun with her when we went on the field trip to the Malibu Lagoon. She was such a loving mom and wife and an involved parent in the schools, yet still able to be an accomplished business woman - not an easy feat. She will be greatly missed. I send all my love to you three.

You gave such a moving speech at the funeral, it was so beautiful, yes, unconditional love. She was so fortunate to have you at her side. Rhonda was so devoted to the your daughters and you. What a beautiful person. We wish we had been able to spend more time with her. May all the wonderful times and loving memories you have of her help give you strength during this difficult time. Rhonda was for me what we other Mother's hope to be; tirelessly advocating for her family that she loves so deeply, while continuing to work in her professional life. An example for her daughters that strength intellect and compassion are compatible and all part of what it means to be a woman. Her community building efforts at the school her girls attend inspired. She always was there to lend a hand and brighten with her smiles. Always reaching out to welcome new friends to her circle and keep-up with her friendships despite her hectic schedule. I admired her vibrant enthusiasm for life, her spirit of adventure and her refreshing candor. As a friend I appreciated her open heart, her gratitude for her family and friends and her ability to be in action and lead others forward from their own complacency. Although the world has dimmed your bright light shines on with your beautiful children and in our hearts.
