When I heard of Aunt Vi's death, I thought about how happy Uncle Jack would be to have his beloved wife by his side again. I loved seeing those two together. Stories could be told and retold many times by her but he would listen and then laugh at the punchlines.
The pictures of her life were interesting. A couple of them really hit a chord with me.
Only old age and failing health kept my mother, Marion Cornelius (Vi's younger sister) from traveling from Minnesota to California to attend Vi's funeral. 
Please know our prayers are with you as you lay to rest you mother, grandmother, great grandmother, mother's sister, and my Aunt Vi.

We enjoyed sharing in the memories of Aunt Vi by looking through the photos you posted. We especially remember her fishing prowess, as shown by the overflowing bucket at the beach.  That memory led us to recall a late afternoon clamming we shared with Bob, Dolores, and your parents. Of course, we dug up a ton of clams, and then returned to their house, where Vi cooked up a huge pot of chowder.   Find comfort in the wonderful memories of your mom.
