The news of the passing of Rita has brought sadness and shock. I regret that our paths did not cross at Point O Woods this summer but I shall hold dear the warm memories of our 40-year relationship beginning with my daughter, Sarah, attending Rita’s three-year old playgroup. She was a lovely person who cherished Bob, Andra, Ryan and Kyle. So sorry for your loss.

For thirty-five plus years Rita and Bob Sulick have been our close friends. Although they are no longer with us, they have left us with a host of joyous memories. There were the countless breakfast meals out in the Hartford area, along the CT coastline and in sunny Naples, FL. There were also numerous dinners out, especially at Tony D’s in New London. There were the elegant dinners in our homes at Newington, Wethersfield, and POW. We attended the weddings of our respective children. We gathered to celebrate our special anniversaries. We traveled together and made numerous bus trips to NYC where we saw Broadway shows. We shared our ups and downs. We supported one another through painful periods. We celebrated lots of good times and favorable news.
Rita and Bob will be missed. Our prayers are with them and their families.

Rita was a person with a deliberate look on life. She lived to share her love and compassion to everyone she met. Rita set the example of love of her God with the hope that others will follow.
May Rita's family share the love for one another in her name and may the cherished memories you created help you through your sadness.
Love,

We were very saddened to learn of the passing of our cousin Rita. My sister, Frances and I had been in touch with her and visited with her in Florida.
Growing up, she was wonderful to us and we enjoyed knowing her.
She always had a positive attitude and also had a distinctive laugh which I can still hear when ever I think of her.
We will miss her! She was a wonderful , fun cousin!
