Yvette was predeceased by her parents, Albert & Freida Schrader; first husband, Dennis Curtis; second husband, Lewis Long; brothers, Orval (Alice) Schrader, Corwin (Roseina) Schrader, Cleo (Yvonne) Schrader, Harold (Irene) Schrader, Wayne (Eva) Schrader, and Lloyd (Myrtle) Schrader; sister, Betty (Albert) Nelson; brothers in law, Mel Curtis, Bill (Betty) Curtis, Sheldon (Beryl) Long; sisters in law, Gertrude (Hugh) Smith, Marguerite Long and Cecilia Liligran.
Yvette is survived by her sons, Doug (Susan) Curtis of Willmar, SK, Marvin (Karen) Curtis of Rockford, SK, and Bob (Shelly) Curtis of Kisbey, SK; grandchildren, Jay (Becky) Curtis [Riley & Zach], Dustin (Jocelyn) Curtis [Austin & Lincoln], Tracy (Brad) Brown [Ashley, Ella & Connor], Angela (Aaron) Grohn [Jordyn (Erik), Jesse, Jett], Carrie (Kevin) Olson [Kyle, Abeny, Joeny, Skylinn & Raidyn], Cory (Jen), Darryl Curtis [Trinity & Dylan] and Amber (Wytt) Hall [Hanna & Landon] as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Funeral Service was held on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. from Stoughton Apostolic Church, Stoughton, Saskatchewan with Pastor Fred Hoehnle officiating. For those unable to attend the service in person, the livestream may still be viewed by logging into “Fletcher Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services” Facebook page. Interment took place at Stoughton Cemetery, Stoughton, Saskatchewan. Lunch followed at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 133, Stoughton, Saskatchewan.
