Arlene Medina, who was born in Denver in 1939, recently passed away in Denver on July 26, 2020. Arlene had a wonderful life. She gardened, exercised with a walking partner, and had lunch with her many friends. She loved old movies and TV shows (especially Gunsmoke). She was retired from Sears where she worked for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She also enjoyed spending time with her sisters talking about old times. Arlene was a widow. Her husband, Urban Medina, passed in 1987. She is survived by her sisters Sadie Tafoya, Joann Vigil, and Mary Jane Dully. She is also mourned by her children, Annette Gallawa, her husband Tony Gallawa, their children Eric Medina and Nathan Gallawa, and their grandchild Dylan Medina. She also is mourned by her son Michael Medina. Arlene was much loved by her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

Arlene was such a sweet dear lady. I worked with her at Sears. She always brightened my day! This world is darker because we lost another bright light. God be with her family and hold them tight during this time.

Arlene was one of my favorite cousins, her father and my mother were brother and sister. I'll often miss her when I come to Denver to visit my parents' grave at Fort Logan. Her husband, Urban, is across the little road in the cemetery, so now I will have 3 to go visit when I go. I will love her now and forever. Cousin Helen

My Aunt was so special to me. She was always happy to see me. She would always call me mijo. She always made me feel special. She was a very kind loving person. I never saw her upset. I'm going to miss my aunt very much.
I love you aunt Arlene.
