Georgianna was born February 11th, 1923 in Denver, Colorado. She and her sister Maxine grew up in Greenland, Colorado where she attended a one room schoolhouse through eighth grade. As a child, she was active in a 4H square dance group. Later Georgianna went to Castle Rock High School. After high school, she worked for Gates Rubber Company in Denver.
On July 7th, 1945, Georgianna and Arthur Tidwell were married in San Antonio, Texas.
Georgianna was a member of the United Methodist Women’s group “Naomi Ruth Circle.” She especially liked her mystery trips with her friends around Colorado. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Georgianna and Art both started Arvada Rentals over 50 years ago.
She is survived by her twin daughters, Sandra Stepniak and her husband, Joe, and Sharon Cooper and her husband, Chuck; three grandchildren, Dana Loan and her husband, Chris, Holly Phillips and her husband, Jeremy, and Wesley Cooper; three great grandchildren, Danika, Duke, Jace; and three step great grandchildren, Sarah, Johnny, and Jax. Also, special thanks to her caregiver, Gail Gerhard.
