Whiting – Jacob Coopers passed away Friday, January 4, 2012 at Hamilton Place at The Pines of Whiting. He was 95.

Born in Passaic, he lived in Clifton before moving to Whiting 27 years ago

Prior to retiring Mr. Coopers was a Supervisor for the Universal Manufacturing Company in Paterson.

He is predeceased by a brother Timothy Cooper and by a sister Janette Cooper Smetana.

Surviving is his wife of 69 years, Elizabeth Exel Coopers. 2 sons: Dennis and his wife Alice of Phoenix, AZ and John and his wife Elvira of Hackettstown. Also by 1 Grandchild and 3 Great-Grandchildren as well as 3 nephews and a niece.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Road, Whiting.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday 11:00 am at America’s Keswick @ the Colony Chapel, 601 RT # 530, Whiting. Burial will follow at Whiting Memorial Park, Whiting.
