My heart is breaking over the news that I just received. One of the truly Most Christian Gentlemen I've had the benefit of knowing has passed away. F.D. and Miss Linda were more than just landlords to me for the short time that I knew them. I was in a bad place/time in my life for the last four years that I rented their house @ 1707 Monroe St. I imposed on their collective Christian hospitality by perennially being either short or late on the rent, yet they didn't ever kick my butt out onto the street when Lord knows that they had plenty of justification for doing so. Mr Little allowed me to work off the rent at a great personal loss to himself and never harangued me about it, even though the trend continued for a couple of more years. I wish that I had gotten to know more about this quiet, unassuming GIANT of a man while I still had the time, but I had lost contact and moved away. I found out only by reading his eulogy that he played guitar amongst other things & that he taught Sunday School. God Bless All those that he left behind & GodSpeed to you, Sir. Miss Linda, if you happen to read this, please get ahold of me at either 940 218 8771 or at ericninerfan@gmail.com. My heart goes out to All Y'all at this moment of loss. Please contact me @ your convenience as I wish to discuss a matter of mutually beneficial importance with you. Sincerely Eric Blom.
