Arlita June Akin, age 88, passed away April 10, 2019. Arlita was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend that will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Golda; husband, John Akin; daughter, Rita Tiger; and 5 sisters. Arlita is survived by children Sherry Cain, Frankie (Kelly) Wells and Teddy Cain; grandchildren, Jason, Chasset, Stacy, Shelly, Ricky, Kasey, and Courtney; and her great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1820 E. Douglas Ave, Wichita, KS. 67214.Visitation will be Monday, April 15, 2019 from 5-7pm. Funeral service 1:00pm, Tuesday, April 16, 2019, both at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Hwy 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
