Hayes, Darrell E., 63, passed away on Fri. Sept. 26, 2014 at his home in Valley Center, KS. Darrell was born on Dec. 19, 1950 the son of Jack and Sylvia Hayes. Darrell married his loving wife Linda Gaston on May 18, 1973 in Houston, MO. Together they celebrated 41 years of marriage. He was an owner/operator for FedEx. He enjoyed golfing, playing music and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Ray and Eddie Hayes. Survivors include his wife, Linda, 6 brothers, 4 sisters, children, Jarrod (Brandy) Hayes, Jaretta (Jeremy) Gilson, grandchildren, Teagan, Taylee, Bryson, Addison and Brecken Hayes, Meghan and Grady Gilson. A celebration of life for Darrell will be at 10:30am on Tues. Oct. 7, 2014 at Eberly Farms, 13111 W. 21st St. N., Wichita, KS 67235.
