David E. Parker, 95, Retired Meat Processor for Cudahy Packing Company, passed away on November 24, 2018. He was born in Burrton, Kansas on August 30, 1923 to Branson D. and Martha (Upthegrove) Parker. Preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Parker; son, Vernon Parker and his seven siblings. Survivors: son, Ronald (Anna) Parker; daughter, Barbara (Ed) Johnston; 3 granddaughters and 6 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, November 28 at Hillside Funeral Home West. Graveside Service: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 29, Mt. Hope Cemetery, Mt. Hope, KS. Memorials may be given to the Kansas Humane Society or to Good Shepherd Hospice.
