OBITUARY

Deanna Jakovac

March 14, 1945August 19, 2019

Deanna Lynn (Kittle) Jakovac (Dee Dee) passed away Monday August 19,2019. Deanna was born in Halstead, Ks on March 14, 1945.

Deanna was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Friend who will be dearly missed.

Deanna was raised in Wichita, Ks and was a graduate of East High School and the Wichita Business College. Deanna was very active in her community Including Church and PTA at her boys schools. Deanna worked for the Wichita visitor and Convention Bureau and at Montgomery Wards. She was also, a long time employee of Dillon's before retiring in 2013, to help take care of her baby granddaughter.

Deanna was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Jean Kittle.

Deanna is survived by her son's Jeff Jakovac and Shawn (Vanessa) Jakovac. Grandchildren Braden, Clara and Hudson Jakovac. As well as, several close family friends.

A celebration of life is scheduled for September 29th from 1-3pm at Hyde Park Community Center, located at (201 S Greenwood, 67211) Flowers can be sent to Devorss Funeral Home, located at 201 S. Hydraulic, 67211.

In lieu of flowers. A donation can be made in Deanna’s name to the Kansas Humane Society (3313 N Hillside St, Wichita, KS 67219) or to the American Diabetes Associations (608 W Douglas Ave, Wichita, KS 67203).

Deanna not only was a neighbor but a wonderful friend. From PTA to bowling and bunko we always found fun and laughter. I will always think of Deanna as my friend, Nana to my kids, and you boys as sons.

Deanna was a wonderful person and friend. We shared a lot of laughs and good times together.
She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
