Donna Faye Mizer

Donna Faye Mizer (Freeman), 54, a wonderful mother, sister and girlfriend, passed away May 25, 2020. Donna was born on August 4, 1965 to Paul D. R. Mizer and Barbara F. (Hefley) Mizer in Wichita, Kansas. She was a member of the Kansas Air National Guard for 9 years, and a preschool teacher in the Wichita area for 20 years. Donna was an incredible woman who absolutely always put others before herself. She loved her family and friends, her dog Maggie, and any opportunity to sleep in and enjoy her Starbucks. Donna was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Danielle and Jeff Kemper; loving boyfriend, Eric Gettings as well as his children and grandchildren; brother, Charlie Mizer; and sisters, Arlene Pledger and Kathryn Cain. Private services will be held at Resthaven Mortuary. The family asks that in lieu of flowers that you donate to the American Cancer Society or Neurofibromatosis Network.
