Jack M Bills

Jack M. Bills, 73, passed away December 29, 2016. Jack was born on Thursday, September 9, 1943 in Wichita, KS to parents, Pauline and Devereaux Bills. Growing up in Wichita, he graduated from East High in 1961. Following his graduation, he joined the Navy Reserves and served with the US Navy, Seabees Mobile Construction Battalion 4 and Vietnam veteran. After being discharged from the Navy he returned home and went to work for Diesel Equip. Co., Central Power Systems and Services; retiring in 2008 after 41 years with the parts department. Jack was not a member of a church. However, he enjoyed the Church of Christ, watching "Know Your Bible", "Steps To Life" and "The Pastor's Study". He also enjoyed watching college basketball, football and golf. He was the best Uncle Jack you could imagine and will be missed by many. Jack was preceded by parents, Devereaux and Pauline Bills; sister, Josephine Hudson. He is survived by sisters, Judy Hannah and Debbie (Chuck) Wagner; nieces and nephews, Jozetta Griffith, Brian (Norma) Glasscock, Alicia Hannah, Christa Wagner, Adam (Andrea) Hannah, Isabella Hannah, Dakota Hannah, John Wagner, Becky (Drew) Boyd, Jonathan (Courtneay) Zeek, Don Berry, Brandon (Brittany) Berry, Shauna (Kyle) Grigsby, Tristan Pfanenstiel, Amber Glasscock, Brittany Vickers, Matt Vickers, Diana (Gene) Alcala, Ashley Boyd, Anabelle Boyd, Alex Boyd, Addison Boyd, Keith Hudson, Josh Hudson, Chris (Kathlin) Hudson and Keirsten Hudson. Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2017. Funeral service is 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2017, both at Resthaven Mortuary.
