Pamela Ann Turpin

Pamela Ann Turpin, age 47, of Laingsburg, Michigan passed away on Tuesday December 31, 2019 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on March 6, 2007. Pamela was born on May 12, 1972 in Detroit, Michigan to Richard and Margaret Merriner.

Pam was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clyde and Lena Merriner, John and Elsie Yates; uncles, James E. Merriner and John L. Yates, Jr.; and father-in-law, David Richard Turpin, III. Surviving are her husband of nearly 29 years, David Henry Turpin; their children, David Richard (Katelynne) Turpin, IV, Daniel Turpin and Dillon Turpin; grandchildren, Mila Mae Turpin and Isabella Ann Turpin; parents, Richard and Margaret Merriner; sister, Gwen (Mike) Swanson; mother-in-law, Inge Turpin; dog, Harley as well as extended family and many friends.

Pam graduated from Okemos High School and continued her studies at Davenport University graduating with a Bachelors degree. She married David on May 11, 1991. Pam enjoyed time with family watching her kids play sports. Time spent at the family cabin, and simply laying out in the sun were some of her favorite past times. She enjoyed singing Karaoke, and will be remembered as "Princess" for her kind heart and sense of humor.

Please join her family for visitation on Friday, January 10, 2020 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes (205 E. Middle Street, Williamston, MI 48895) from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral Services for Pam will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11 AM at the Okemos Church of the Nazarene (1906 Hamilton Rd, Okemos, MI 48864), with an additional visitation one hour prior to the service.
