Continuing her academics, she received her Masters in Education from Canisius College and taught in the Buffalo School System for several years, had two sons, before moving to Canandaigua, NY. Martha enjoyed supporting her husband throughout his entire career at General Motors, Chevrolet Division. Returning to Buffalo four years later, they settled in Tonawanda in 1958 and shortly thereafter had another son. Fifteen years later, the family (except Arthur) moved to the West Coast living in both Northern and Southern California.
