I was one of Mr. Weig's students at Hutch Tech back in the '70's. He was one of the and nicest and kindest teachers I have ever encountered. He certainly lives on in all of us who had the great pleasure to have known and been taught by him. My sincerest condolences to his family.

Very sorry to here about your lost. Mr. Weig was my drafting teacher @ Hutch Tech. Because of his dedication to detail, I am able to read and understand any kind of drafting today. Thank you Mr. Weig for you great wisdom

My condolences to his family. Mr Weig changed the course of my life in a very positive way. Because of his drafting classes in early high school, I went on further in the mechanical design and engineering fields. Because of my genuine love and respect for the art of drafting I learned at that young age, I now teach mechanical drafting part time myself. There are countless adults out there with beautiful hand lettering because of Mr Weig. Your legacy lives on.

Mr Weig was my Mechanical Drafting Teacher at HC Technical HS back in the late 60’s. Hutch Tech had many high quality instructors back then and Mr Weig could be counted amongst them. Nice man who did his job in a professional manner and taught us how to draw.

My condolences to his family.

So sorry to learn this. Norm was a delight to know. Kind, funny, sweet natured.and just plain good. Norm, was a true and real presence in my childhood and my early adulthood though I have seen few of the extended WNY family since my parents died. My mother, Dorothy, was his cousin.
I can still see his sweet smile and feel his open hearted generosity and easily shared loving-kindness today.
Sincere condolences to the entire family.
Fondly, Barbara Genco

I often think so fondly of Norman.
Our Mom ,Dottie Colmerauer Genco
Always loved him,
I was in Colmar France several years ago... every where I turned there was Norman,
The nose, the facial structure and the smile.
I will raise s glass of Alsace Wine to him.
Take comfort in knowing his hand is always on your hearts♥️
