Shirley, Vicki and Cliff, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I didn't know Hallet very well but I know that he loved his family.
I will surely be thinking of you all and praying for GOD's love to surround you and comfort you in the days and months ahead.
Also Richard and James (Mintz) (my brothers) send their love and prayers for you all. We spoke and reminisced of you all just tonight. If I can be of any help just call me.

My love for the Cayton family goes way back. I always had fun staying at their house as a young'un. We played in the woods and by the creek and ate yummy food. Everyone had their turn doing dishes. One year Vickie and I played with her chemistry set. Don't know what we made but it bubbled and stunk! One year I rode in the hayride with them. We'd sit in the living room after supper and watch T.V. and Mr. Halet would say something and we'd end up laughing. The Cayton family influenced my life in positive ways. I'll always be grateful for them and always love them. Lenell

I am the daughter in law widow of oldest son Barry.
For me Hallet Cayton has been just Daddy for the last forty years.I remember many special times, daddy was not big on sharing feeling or a hugger but I definitely am.So in all the years I reached and gave hugs he never turned me down he always reached back even last time I saw him,he was so frail still he hugged me back and I said I LOVE YOU,DADDY he just flashed those Cayton blue eyes , and that was enough for me. I LOVE HIM AND WILL MISS HIM DEARLY!!!! I know he is with the LORD and my BELOVED HUSBAND.
It breaks my heart I cannot be there to see all the family and share my love and affection in person with each and everyone of you. My thoughts, prayers and heart truly are with you mama and all the rest, one last HUG AND I LOVE YOU DADDY ALWAYS!!!! Storm
