In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Edwin Vann Capps and her brother, John Relmon Robinson, Jr.
Lina’s parents were the former owners of the Lumina Pavilion in the forties and fifties. Lina spent a lot of her time at the Pavilion in her teens and early twenties. She loved the ocean, forties and fifties music, and spent her later years reminiscing with all the memories and photographs of her earlier times at Wrightsville Beach.
She is survived by her sister, Patricia Robinson Higgins of Wilmington; aunt, Silvey Robinson of Townville, South Carolina and nephew, Christopher Martin Higgins of Wilmington, along with many loving cousins and their families.
The Funeral Service will be held at 2pm Friday, September 20, 2019 at Coble Ward – Smith Funeral & Cremation Service with Pastor Billy Batten officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family would like to thank all the doctor and nurses at Lower Cape Fear Hospice for their continued support. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
